SCHOOL ASSEMBLY CONCERT AND DANCE
WITH ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCE MUSIC FROM THE 1600s

Learn to dance to elegant English Country Dance tunes with the stately and lively performers of Saratoga Faire, a quartet of award winning musicians and experienced dance caller, Gail Griffiths. Instruments include hammered dulcimer, viola, violin, bass and guitars for a full, rich sound. Saratoga Faire helps to instill an appreciation for the Renaissance with stories about the compositions, composers and musicians of the period. Three of the members are experienced Renaissance Faire performers. One of the members has a masters degree in education (NY certified) and another member has had over 20 years of teaching experience on a variety of instruments to children and adults.
